Osterville Fish Too Address: 275 Mill Way Barnstable Cape Cod
Massachusetts 02630 Phone: 508-362-2295
Osterville Fish Too is a Cape Cod restaurant and market. They might call
themselves a restaurant but I affectionately call these kinds of restaurants
fish shacks. A fish shack is a no-frills place to get
extraordinary seafood prepared in a simple and straightforward manner.
Summer in Cape Cod is not complete without visiting a fish shack. And
if you're in Barnstable then be sure to visit Osterville Fish Too, right
on the harbor. Features patio and deck dining. Osteville Too offers a
traditional fish shack menu of lobster rolls, scallop rolls, and clam
strip rolls plus boiled lobster, steamers, mussels and various fried fish.
And like most east coast fish shacks it also offers non-seafood fare such
as chicken sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs. Osteville Fish Too is
open:
Monday through Thursday 10am to 8pm.
Friday. 10am to 9pm
Saturday from 10am to 8pm
Sunday from 11am to 7pm
Regatta of Cotuit Address: 4631 Falmouth Road, Cotuit Cape
Cod Massachusetts 02635 Phone: 508-428-5715
Located on the site of a 200 year old mansion, The Regatta of Cotuit offers
candle lit dining rooms for a memorable dining experience. They also offer
a more casual area called the Tap Room where you might hear live jazz
on certain nights. The menu is heavy on refined interpretations of local
seafood dishes but there are ample selections of non-seafood dishes for
those who have a yearning for seared filet mignon, buffalo tenderloins,
or duck. For those who can't make up their minds they also offer a veal
and lobster plate. The Regatta of Cotuit has received numerous awards
and good reviews ranging from Zagat to AAA to the Boston Herald. Check
out the Regatta
of Cotuit sample menu and place this fine restaurant on your dining
shortlist if you are after a romantic and "grown-up" restaurant
experience or a more casual but refined experience in the Tap Room. Reservations
recommended.
Wimpy's Seafood Cafe and Fish Market Address: 752 Main St., Osterville
Cape Cod Massachusetts, 02655 Phone: 508-428-6300 There are nights when you don't want to have your dining experience
redefined. Some nights it's all about straightforward American food iand
an early bird senior citizen discount. If that's your itch then get it
scratched at Wimpy's Seafood Cafe, a locals favorite that features comfortable
tables and booths and nothing so fancy you have to ask your waiter for
a menu translation. Offering classic New England surf and turf with a
side of Italian-American favorites, Wimpy's is a great place for the entire
family. It is open for lunch and dinner. Have your fill of scallops wrapped
in bacon, fried clams, Tuscany Bruschetta or some Philly cheesteak spring
rolls. You'll find traditional New England fried seafood dishes as well
as Italian favorites like Chicken Picatta, Chicken Marsala and Colorado
Lamb Chops. The menu is wide ranging, there is literally something for
pretty much everyone. It's not upscale, but it's not downscale either.
It's in a comfortable middle area. They also offer take out.
Centerville Pies
Address: 1671 Falmouth Rd (Route 28)
Centerville Cape Cod Massachusetts 02632 Phone: 774-470-1406
Featured on the Oprah Winfrey show, Centerville Pies has become a destination
of sorts and demand for their famous pies has grown. They cook a limited
selection of both savory and dessert pies. So in addition of regular dessert
pies you may find chicken pot pie or meat pies on the menu. Because of
demand you may do well to call your order in ahead of time.
Papa Gino's Pizza Address: 1600 Falmouth Rd #105 Centerville
Cape Cod MA 02632 Phone: 508-778-5500
This is a chain pizzeria. Sometimes a chain pizzeria is what the moment
calls for.
Cape Cod Chicken Address: 1671 Falmouth Road Centerville Cape
Cod, Massachusetts 02632-2944 Phone: 508-771-1302
Located in a strip mall, this small fast food restaurant offers rotisserie
chicken on the go. If you want to have a picnic out on Centerville beach
or at a kettle pond, this is a good place to pick up some good food to
take along. People tend to overlook spots like this but in my opinion
these kinds of restaurants are excellent choices for to-go food that will
taste good on a picnic.
Barnacle Snack Bar Address: 988 Craigville Beach Road
Centerville, Massachusetts 02632 Phone: 508-775-7766 This is a beach snack bar located at Craigsville Beach. It's conveniently
located but because it's at the beach you may experience long lines and
waits.
